Wilderness Medical Associates
WFR certified since 2025, now a WMA International Instructor. WFR training emphasizes remote medical emergency response, patient assessment, and critical thinking for backcountry situations.

Wilderness Education Association
The National Standards Program (NSP) was the WEA’s gold standard when qualified in 2002. The original 18 point curriculum from The Backcountry Classroom was the ‘bible’. A month-long expedition sealed the deal and cemented personal standards that have lasted a lifetime. Asobi Master is pursuing the highest-level Certified Outdoor Educator (COE) certification with WEA in the near future for additional course offerings.

Currnetly qualified as an Instructor Trainer in Kayak L1-2, Community Paddle Sports Leader Trainer, and SUP Instructor Trainer - In Progress. Rolling out in 2026 will be ACA Guide Trainer courses planned to be offered in Japan by Asobi Master®.

As an LNT Instructor, I expertly teach and model the seven Leave No Trace principles, equipping outdoor enthusiasts with sustainable practices. My role combines environmental impact assessment, effective facilitation, and advocacy skills to inspire behavioral change, ultimately minimizing human footprint on natural landscapes.
