Avalanche Safety Equipment

Professional-grade avalanche safety kits including avalanche backpack systems, transceiver (beacon), shovel, and probe. Equipment is checked prior to release. Avalanche safety equipment does not prevent avalanches and requires appropriate training and decision-making by the user. 

Snowboard Rentals (Re-Ride Fleet)

Carefully selected snowboards from our Re-Ride fleet, maintained for reliable all-mountain and off-piste use. Bindings included depending on availability and fit.

Splitboard Rentals

Splitboard setups including splitboard, bindings, climbing skins, and poles (when applicable). Intended for users familiar with touring systems and transitions. Skins may require replacement if damaged or contaminated.

Durable snowshoes suitable for winter travel. Poles may be included depending on availability.

Rental Price

  • Rentals are only done in packs or sets, no individual items.

  • Listed daily prices are per day.

  • 'Re-Ride' Snowboard Rentals - 5+ Day Rental, will ship to client at their expense in Hokkaido. Board and Binding, no boots.

  • Working (pre-approved) Guides get 10% back on referrals on any rental totalling over ¥10,000.

Gear Rentals - Browse & Inquiry

Asobi Master® offers a limited fleet of high-quality winter equipment rentals for independent use or in connection with separately contracted programs. Our rental operation prioritizes reliability, fit, and readiness—inventory is limited and advance booking is recommended.

This is equipment rental only. No guiding, instruction, supervision, or transportation is included unless explicitly contracted in writing.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Rental equipment may be used independently or alongside a separately contracted program. Renters are responsible for terrain choice, equipment care, and timely return.

  • Credit card payment required. Rentals are confirmed on a paid-in-full, first-come, first-served basis. High-value rentals require a card on file. Refundable security deposits may be required in certain cases. 

  • Pickup and return details are confirmed at booking. Same-day or rush rentals may be available. Shipping may be available to confirmed lodging or courier pickup points. 

  • Renters are responsible for loss, theft, damage, missing components, cleaning, and late returns. 

  • Best suited for experienced winter travelers seeking reliable equipment without services attached.
